Celebrate the best kept secret in Naples with an afternoon of music from the past five centuries in 75 minutes on Cinco de Mayo at Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church at 4 pm.
The renowned Naples Brass are members of the Naples Philharmonic as well as the former Euphonium soloist with the US Army Band, "Pershing's Own" and Gator trumpet professor from the University of Florida. This unique concert that will cover 500 years of music; ranging from compositions of Gabrielli to jazz to patriotic tunes. All of this is accompanied by organist Jim Cochran, performing on the new Lively-Fulcher pipe organ.
It's all part of the Stay in May Celebration. These skilled professionals have an engaging stage presence and rapport with their audiences by having fun playing together with three trumpets, three trombones, tuba, percussion plus piano and organ.
